Non-flying guest lounge access
If I'm flying SQ C, and was thinking of meeting up with a NY friend at JFK, any chance he'll get let in as a guest into the Swiss/Oasis lounge?

Maybe this is a stupid question ....
but how would you get a non-flying person airside? (I'm assuming by 'non-flying' you mean someone who is not flying at all that day, rather than someone who is flying on a different airline...) |
I believe the Swiss lounge is before security.

On a visit to an unrelated *G lounge this month, I was asked if my companion was on the same flight, and it was not ok if they weren't. Probably inconsistently enforced, but I was asked and denied, just FYI.

Oasis is land side at JFK.

I thought any guest could be on any flight, as long as the Gold member was on a *A flight
Otherwise the only requirement is a *A BP for any same day *A flight. |

That is correct. The only exception I'm aware of is the LH FCT in FRA where pax are driven to the plane.
