I booked SYD-SIN-HKG in Suites class (first time in Suites and an A380!)
SQ22: SYD 15:00 - SIN 21:00
Layover: 11hr 20min
SQ860: SIN 08:40 - HKG 12:40
Both legs are operated by an A380. Will I have access to the Private Room? I know that club is closed from 02:30 through 05:30. Come that time I can just move to another lounge. Can I expect to be met at the gate upon arriving as well?
Sorry for noob questions. I've never flown SQ premium cabin through SIN before. I'm excited

You can access the other SQ lounges at any time. E.g. the first class lounge doesn't close. However, for 11 hour overnight transit I'd be inclined to get a hotel room and go into town. It doesn't take long to get to/from airport and the city.
No, you won't be met at the gate.

There are a couple of SIN-SYD flights, abt 3-4 per day
They are operated by either A380 or 777-300ER
Honestly, I think the A380 looks dated (i know they are gonna change it in Q1 2018).
But what about the 777-300ER - is it the refurbished version, or the old version? I believe the refurbished version's hardproduct will look similar to A350's
p/s: Specifically, interested in SQ212

I have booked my first SQ flight. Suites from FRA -> JFK in October of 2018! Very excited.
I did a rewards ticket at full fare (not saver). I am waiting to book my inbound into Europe (probably on D1). And based on availability I will either be departing Europe from either FCO or VCE.
That means, I need to get from either VCE or FCO to FRA the night before my flight. I noticed that if I try to book via cash on the SQ site I can route from VCE with the appropriate stopover in FRA. However, with a rewards ticket it was not possible. Because LH is a *A partner with SQ if I called up and asked to change my departure city to VCE would they be able to book me on LH from VCE with the stop over? I did search and read the rules and saw that for a one way ticket one stop over is allowed - but I wasn't sure if the number of miles would increase or what the procedure would be.
I haven't done any *A bookings before, mostly skyteam.
Thanks!

I have dummy booked an economy class flight, 3rd december, between LHR-SIN on SQ317 and Christmas eve return on SQ308.
However, most of the seats I want are blocked out. I am not going to pay a non-refundable fare unless I can get the seat I want (aisle seat obviously).
Is there any way of knowing whether the seats are taken by real passengers, or whether the seats are just blocked off by the computer until a later date?

What if I phoned SQ customer service in the UK and just asked to reserve a blocked off seat anyway? Would they turn me down?

If I have a UA award for myself and my child #1 on SQ flights, am I able to use SQ miles to book a SQ award for my child #2 on the same SQ flights?
Doing this because UA saver business awards from Australia to Asia are 30k for a few more days but they only have 2 seats available. Trying to pick up another seat using SQ miles.
Thanks.
