Hi there,
I will be on SQ in C from ZRH to SIN, then onwards with SQ in Y from SIN to HKT (same ticket, same day). Will I have access to the C Lounge in SIN? I have no status whatsoever.
Cheers

No. You will not have any lounge access in SIN. As a matter of fact, you will not allowed to go anywhere else in the airport, other than waiting area for your next flights or the hotel room you booked during transit.

Any reason to keep an SQ award on hold until the last minute?
I've got 3 J tickets on hold for July 2022 for DAD-SIN-HKG-SFO, with F waitlists for SIN-HKG-SFO. The miles have transferred in. The agent has the J hold expiring January 2022, so I've still got time. Any reason to wait out the clock vs. ticket now?
Thanks.

Does anyone know how long the on arrival PCR test takes to process? Planning a trip via the VTL. Thanks!

You can keep the waitlist going after ticketing the other award (staying on the waitlist doesn't require you to have the miles in your account, though you can't make a waitlist request without having the miles), though if the waitlist does clear you will have to be quick about cancelling the other award and redepositing miles to ticket the first class journey.
I would ticket now as I prefer the certainty - you don't have anything in writing at present, and what if they change the flight schedule and you lose the "hold"?

obviously, if a full A380 arrive, then maybe the results might take slightly longer.

I plan on being in South Korea next year to visit some friends and am thinking about adding Singapore to the end of my trip as I've never been.
Assuming I can go any time in the whole year unrestricted - what is the best way to find one-way saver redemption for First/Suites from SIN>JFK? I've heard that the return is easier to book vs. going from JFK but I see zero saver redemptions for the entire year right now.
If it helps my mileage totals across platforms are:
Club Balance
AMEX 211,000
Chase 219,000
Delta 292,000
Marriott 530,000
Virgin Atlantic 130,000

think they also closed the first class for April onwards. And the first class is only 4 seats (777). So the saver award is very rare. (When SQ26 is A380, there are 12 suite and even so, saver award is usually available on certain days. )
SQ12 (LAX) or SQ8 (SFO) might have some saver first class seat available.

Good to know. I'll just go for biz saver then. Bummer about the suites on that route.
Thank you!

This isn't like one J seat to another J seat where the product difference is minimal.

The SQ argument is always they sell a class of service, not a particular seat on a specific plane.
