Useless website - MI ?

Useless website - MI ?
Very annoying -
I made a booking of return ticket SIN/CNX on SQ website which cost S$450
while MI website offers the same itinerary at S$470...
After checking details, SQ offers Q/H subclass, but MI for H/H - different
mileage accrual level.. Different inventory control...??
The point is that the flights are operated by Silkair/MI and SQ is code-share.
I assume that operating airline should offer more attractive price -
but this case is totally opposite. So I felt something weird/tricky...
Is this very common ? or only SQ/MI ? Just wondering...
Lesson : When making Silkair flight which has SQ flight number,
dont fail to check SQ website where you may find lower priced ticket !
