First Class Star RTWs on the A380?
 
Looking at, e.g., SIN-LHR on 16 Sep, the two daytime A380 flights are showing A-class availability (the night flight is not).

Does that mean F-class Star RTWs can now include A380 flights on SQ?

Yeap, A inventory available on some A380 flights ... at a modest US$2,000 surcharge for *A RTW fares.

It's about time!

I've waited a long time for this to happen.

SQ should have had this surcharge long ago.

I wouldn't have mind paying a higher surcharge on an RTW ticket when the A380 first came out.

I don't think so. This is a Star RTW--not an SQ only RTW.

Is the additional charge $2000 per segment in A380 suites or $2000 to include one or more suites A380 segments on a RTW *A FC fare?

Also, I assume the SQ only FC RTW fare is gone now?

          SIN-HONG KONG SIN-HKG  USD700
          SIN-SWP  SIN-MEL/SYD  USD1100
          SIN-JAPAN SIN-NRT  USD1100
          EUROPE-AMERICAS FRA-JFK  USD1100
          SIN-EUROPE SIN-CDG/FRA/LHR/ZRH USD2000
          JAPAN-AMERICAS NRT-LAX  USD2000
          SIN-AMERICAS SIN-JFK/LAX  USD2700
          THE SURCHARGE AMOUNT MUST BE REFECTED AS A Q-
          SURCHARGE
          AFTER THE A380 SECTOR.
          NOTE-
          THIS ALSO INCLUDES THE OPERATING SERVICES
          MARKETED

It appears that all surcharges are per sector and are absurdly high.

SQ surcharges are always per segment.:(

I'd take SWISS F any day of the week than pay for a Suites class that really is nothing more than glorified F. Most other airlines don't say its a whole different class, only SQ seems to have gotten overboard.
