A380J with stop or A345J non stop ?

FYI - alrady flown on QF and LH 380 so the excitement is mostly gone....
Paid J on SQ in 3/12. What would you do:
EWR-SIN (345) with 3 hour morning layover in SIN, or JFK-FRA-SIN (380) with a 6 hour middle of night layover in SIN? I see seats on 380 are wider. Both same price. I'm fine on super long flights either way.
Any experience or suggestions?

Thanks

A345.

You have to wake up 3am NY time for transit stop in FRA.

At FRA, carry-on bags cannot be left on board during transit. You have to pass security to get to lounge. You have to pass security before boarding.

Your sleep is uninterrupted on A345.

EWR is more pleasant to depart from at that time of night compared to JFK

100 PAXs on A345 is better than 400 PAX on A380.

Difference in seat size between A345 and A380 is not significant

You're welcome.

I should add that if you usually sleep in late in New York, say 11am Eastern Time, its actually a 7 hour flight then to SIN

Take the A380 with one stop in FRA: The ride on the A380 is smoother and in FRA you can stretch your legs during the stopover instead of sitting for 16 hours with limited movement.

Another vote for the A345.

While the A380 is smoother and quieter, I'd rather not lose any time transiting and find the service levels on SQ21 very consistent with the all J cabin. Done it a few times and will definitely do it again over the A380 with stop.
