access website with iPhone
 

Does anyone know how to access the website on a mobile device? The only thing I can get is this ridiculous mobile website with absolutely no info whatsoever...
It even asks for a mobile phone number!
Sq is really bad on the ground...

I have no problem in accessing singapore airlines website through my iphone.

iOS devices with Safari will not allow you to change its settings to force Safari to ignore mobile sites.

You would have to change the agent string first. You can do that if you jailbreak your i-device.

I think Android allows you to do that...

But SIA's mobile site sucks big time.... super slow and super not user-friendly.... I had to try to enter my KF number 5 times before it took me to the next page.:td:

And it;s free of charge so didn;t need to do the jailbreak.

First of all you must have an Apple ID
Second you need to search Singapore Airlines Mobile App at App Store(not in Installous or Cydia). Since it's free of charge, just download and install.

I think what everybody is referring to here is the access to the actual www.singaporeair.com website (and avoiding the m.singaporeair.com mobile site). Usually, most of the websites offer an option at the bottom of their page to let you select to bypass the mobile site and go straight to the regular one but SQ does not...

The iPhone app is good yes but it's kind of useless... every time you decide to do something, you need to re-enter your KF number and password (or maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I go from Manage your Bookings back to the Home screen and head back into KrisFlyer Services, I need to re-enter the data.... annoying.

Use Opera Mini (alternate to Safari browser). Set "mobile view" to off under Settings - that sets the browser to tell the world that you are on a real computer.

Voila! You get the same website as if using your desktop computer. No jail break.

Plus compression proxy to save you bandwidth. That also means you may not be able to access your provider's own website for account information. But there is still Safari.
