Going to spread the joy! For those who want to apply for the HSBC Visa Infinite, please PM me for a referral and I’m happy to share the referral bonus of $150 equally too. Particularly good value for “buying 40,000 signup miles” if you’re a HSBC Premier customer by paying the $488 signup fee. There’s also an UNPUBLISHED benefit solely for HSBC Premier customers in the form of 4 free one-way airport limo transfers + 4 expedited immigration clearances. Not particularly fussed with the 4 expedited clearances, but I value each airport limo transfer to conservatively $20 per trip (if I had alternatively taken a normal taxi or Uber to Changi Airport) although market value will be closer to $45 per trip. So working the math for 40,000 signup miles: Card fee $488 + Fee to convert to KF or AM $42.80 - Half share of referral fee $75 - Value of 4 airport limo transfers $80 = $375.80 or buying miles at 0.94 cent per mile ONLY!! (or if you value the airport limo transfers at its market price of $45 each, cost works down to just $275.80 or 0.69 cent per mile.)

Just to double-check that this is still valid: does the DBS Woman's World MasterCard still generate 4 miles/$ when topping up the Fevo/M1 prepaid MC? :)
Have any other similar setups/schemes appeared in the meantime, or any new prepaid cards worthy of getting and using instead of the Fevo? |

Sadly the fever passed last year.
Grab Pay is an interesting new option. How widespread is Grab Pay? I was browsing through the merchant list but nothing popular came up. Any supermarkets, convenience stores, food courts or major chain stores taking part? |

Interesting, thanks. Did DBS officially pull the plug and announce no more bonus points, or did they do it quietly with people suddenly reporting no longer getting the extra points?

Grab Pay is in its early stages. Mostly a few restaurants and food courts. My understanding is that Grab has big ambitions for it so hopefully they will be able to expand the rollout this year. Of course if it gets too big DBS will probably exclude it so... |
I'm about to spend about 4k on MAS tickets and maybe around 2k on Airbnb, shoud I book the flight tickets via Expedia? If yes which card should I use for each transaction (including the Airbnb)? Currently, I only have the DBS Women's World and Citibank Rewards cards.

DBS woman's world MC has a monthly limit of 2k for getting the 4 mpd. So probably best to max it out with Airbnb. With regards to the MAS tickets check the TnCs of the promotions DBS Altitude and UOB (I think it's with the PriviMiles card) have that give you 6mpd for spending via Expedia, as only certain airlines are included in each of the promos. Be careful to go through the specific links these banks have that will then lead to the Expedia site. Don't just go to expedia.com.sg directly. It obviously means you will have to apply for a 3rd card, but well worth it if you can get 6mpd. Any disadvantages of booking flights on Expedia instead of direct with airline? Shopback gives 0.5-1% cash back too + the 6mpd of altitude |

How does DBS check that you went through their Expedia minisite for the booking?

People in other forums have reported being unable to stack the 6mpd expedia promo with shopback - their claims gets rejected. But I haven't tried to do so. |

When you go to the Expedia landing page via DBS a banner will appear on the page saying you will get 6mpd. It's best to do this in incognito mode. With regards to checking, Expedia is able to check whether you went through the DBS link at their backend (based on your Expedia booking reference), incase you dispute the mileage accural later on.
