Advise on LHR-MCT-LHR turn around

Hi guys, I need some help.
I did some LHR-DXB-LHR just to collect miles and the experiences where fun and easy. This time due to A0, I have to change to LHR-MCT-LHR.
Has anyone did LHR-MCT-LHR turn around recently?
I would like to know:
1- It's complicated?
2- Can I collect both out and inbound bording passes in LHR.
3- Is there any thing I should be careful?
Thank you in advance

You will probably receive better and more replies in the BA forum.

I did the turnaround a couple of years ago. Report here and subsequent posts.

1. No, either airside or landside is possible. Airside makes more sense if the inbound is late, but BA's timekeeping is much better.
2. Probably, but easier if you PYOBP
3. No.

I did it earlier this year and had to collect my return BP from the all-airline service counter at MCT - no problems. I couldn't enter Oman due to pesky stamps in my passport.

The lounge at MCT has an unusual range of snacks - very interesting in the middle of the night.
