More surcharges released for some RTW flights & NZ booking class changes

In addition to the new SQ surcharges for certain 777 flights as discussed a couple of weeks ago, NZ have now added new routes for their premium economy cabin surcharges on :-: RTW & other Star fares.

- AKL to MEL/SYD/BNE will be USD100.00 per direction effective immediately. In addition, the MEL-LAX-MEL NZ6/NZ5 services via AKL will be charged per sector, so USD100 for MEL-AKL and USD300 for AKL-LAX.
- AKL to SHA will be USD300.00 effective immediately.
These new surcharges apply to Starlite/Star Special, Star 1/2/3, Circle Pacific and Circle Asia fares.

NZ have also advised changes to their J cabin booking class, also effective immediately. As per rules release 07/06 from 23NOV -
"Business Class - book D. If D not available, book U. If U not offered or unavailable, book Y. Alternately book C for a USD350 surcharge."
Previously no option to book U (Premium Y) was available.

Thanks Al B ^

The ability to only be downgraded one class from business to premium economy is good, but in practice normally if business is full so is premium economy.
