LOS lounge

AF will open a new private lounge in Lagos, on March 10th. This will be the 52nd AF private lounge.

Located airside, after immigration and security, this lounge can accommodate 63 persons and has a shower.

hfly, just curious - given your well-known preference not to fly "scare france", why do you ever bother looking at the AF board?

Because it is AF or because of the destination?

In this case it is both.

As for why I frequent this board, I have stated my reasons several times in the past, use the search feature for a refresher.

By the way, they opened a "patio" lounge in bordeaux a while ago, and promised others (Lyon, Marseille, Orly ...) for ever ... will we see those one day ?

The Bordeaux Patio was opened in June 2001. I am not an Patio enthusiast, but I suppose it serves its purpose.

The Orly Ouest - Hall 1 (62 seats) and the Nice (75 seats) Patios were scheduled for early 2003. Additional ones are planned for main domestic destinations "starting in 2003".

I suppose the Nice Patio was opened along with the new terminal extension but I haven't been there yet, nor do I use Orly Ouest Hall 1. Has anyone been there and seen the Patio ?

I just went through ORY West terminal this morning. There is a Patio Lounge in departure Hall 1 (La Navette, the shuttle, is in Hall 2).

Just as in BOD, you have non-alcoholic beverages, cookies, newspapers, but not much else. Free internet access requires that you bring your laptop, as there are no workstations available. I did not check whether you need a modem or an Ethernet connection.

Unlike BOD, the Patio lounge is located at the centre of the departure hall, without phonic isolation from the hall.
