Question Is there food/drink in Coach? to/fr MEX

Facing the fact I may have to fly Y shortly. I am CK, Airpass, full Y, MCE. What, if anything, do I get complementary in Y? If not free, what is for a sale? Is there a meal? Can I get a soda? It's a ~3+ hour flight out of MEX. I've never done this.

free drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic, you can get a free premium snack which iirc includes nuts or cheese and charcuterie trays that are shelf stable

MCE: Bulkhead, second row, or exit row? There's a decent argument for each.

Exit row was the only one with aisle. Second row? What’s the advantage there?

You’re more likely to get a pre-departure drink if you’re sitting near first class.

LoL really? Never heard of nor seen that. Actually this plane only has two rows of MCE, the exit rows.

I have received a PDB a few times when sitting in coach, but it’s rare. I am about 100 percent on free premium snacks in coach but it’s variable - the cheese plate is my most received snack.

I fly both J and Y JFK-SNA a lot. The cheese plate in coach is the same cheese snack you get in J, except it is not plated or served as nicely. You get cheese and crackers in a plastic box.

If you have a long flight in Y, you may want to stop at a deli and pick yourself up a cold sandwich on the way to the airport. It will be better than any sandwich you can buy on the plane. I am not sure on AA, but on B6 you can buy the middle seat to make the flight much more comfortable when you travel if stuck in Y. This is great if you have a travel partner with you.

Quicker de-plane than exit row, and less uncertainty on legroom and overhead bin space compared to the bulkhead.
