5 March : Widespread problems logging into BA.com

Evening all,

I was in my account no problems earlier .... but trying to log into my account tonight I’m getting an error saying “we are not able to recognise the membership number you have entered”. I’ve tried it multiple times and it’s 100 per cent correct. Is there an issue or just me ?!

Thanks in advance

Yes. Asked me to reset password. Now I can't get in to website or App. I get the same message as you.

Yes, the login process appear to be goosed at the moment.

They appear to have emailed loads of people telling them to change their password, and maybe their IT couldn't then cope with the volume of people doing just that. Or maybe they've just disabled everything as they don't know what's been hacked.

See also the thread about the data breach and the required re-setting of one's password... which apparently doesn't get you back into your account once you've done so....

It's quite possible that logins have been disabled in light of that other thread but if that's the case I would expect BA to indicate that on a splash screen.

I also have the same problem. The app seems to be working at the moment, but the website won't let me in

Did you try the "forget your details" link on the ba.com login page?
