From tomorrow (Dec. 2) through Dec. 16, every AAdvantange member will receive a gift. The freebies include award miles, a complimentary Main Cabin Extra seat, an Admirals Club one-day pass and more. The gifts are personalized to your account — they are based on a number of factors, including your elite tier and how frequently you’ve traveled this year.

AAdvantage holiday gift (every member gets a gift, promo Dec 2, 2020)
Been seeing the blogs talk about a holiday gift for all AAdvantage members, to be found in your 'promotions' tab in your account starting today, dec2. I thought that was pretty cool. I made it a point to check and see what mine was as soon as I can.
I got bonus miles added to my account. for free. yippee, right?
I got 250 bonus miles as a special holiday gift.
Two hundred and fifty miles.
Ive been executive platinum for about 5 or 6 years. I'll requalify even this year, and I have a million miles in my account.
And all I mean to american is apparently 250 miles.
Before today if it wasnt served by american (or a partner) I didnt fly there. I think in 2021 I'll start exploring my options.

Wow! 250 miles? Seriously? I could have seen maybe an Admirals Club day pass, or maybe even a few more 500 mile upgrade certs that would allow EXP to upgrade an award companion, but no, 250 miles. Honestly, that’s pretty insulting in its stinginess. My impression of AA has declined as a result of that.

I don't have any status with AA and got 100 miles. Was hoping for a club day pass but oh well.
Kind of surprised, thought they'd be handing out thousands of miles, but I see I had too high of expectations. Oh well free miles are free miles.
Edited to add, if I take two flights I also will earn double miles.

Many if not all will also be offered a promotion of some kind, apparently.

(My holiday mlife bonus at the MGM casino, meanwhile, was a chance to spin the wheel for a guaranteed minimum $500 gift card to Best Buy et al... and I ended up winning $1500. Plus a $200 Honeybaked Ham gift card. Come on, AA

I am going to fly in the next week or so and become Gold. Anyone have a clue if my gift would change if I don't try to access that page until after? I have no clue what it is, I assume not much from reading the above... but I don't want to look if I can make it better by becoming gold first.

As an exec plat, I have the same offer as yours. It doesn’t really seem worth pursuing.... I wish it were easier to earn these 500 mile sticker upgrades though!
Wow, I guess I should feel lucky to have received both an undetermined number of 500-mile sticker upgrades (to be determined when they post within 24 hours) and a single-class Avis upgrade. And the opportunity to earn 2000 miles and 4 more stickers if I buy 4 flights in W/J/F in Jan/Feb 2021.
