Obviously speculation, but seems like a gear collapse based on the pictures

Flight cancelled Sunday I would think they have a spare aircraft to replace. I guess they took passengers to NAS to get to MIA.

Didn’t this just happen with another 145 somewhere else in the last week or so?

Very happy no injuries but why couldn't it have been a CR2?

I quite like the small E-Jets and E-Props. Nothing like a single side seat.

Not sure why this is lost on so many people...perhaps it's because I have wide shoulders and notice a lack of shoulder room quicker than a lack of legroom.

Isn't overrunning the runway when the plane doesn't stop at the end of the runway? This one veered off the runway.

Aren't those already getting retired? (sorry, Javabytes beat me to this)

Disagree.

Exactly.

I sit in 3 or 4A on my regional E145 jet everytime for the single seat, but the legroom is squished, and the shoulder and hip/waiste width is very tight.
The ERJ-175s are darn right luxurious in comparison. I would scream for joy to have only 1/2 to 3/4 of the scheduled regional flights but for them all to be on ERJ175s. That, and there is at least some sort of F product. For whatever calculus there is in AAs system, my upfare charge to F on a SWO-DFW-XXX is nearly always more than the upfare to F on a DFW-XXX fare (and you'd think maybe because the Y fare on DFW-XXX is usually more being a direct flight, but that is very often not even the case). Even though SWO-DFW is on a crappy E145 and you get zero, zilch, nada, being on a F ticket on that leg.

(examples, 11/08-11/15;
SWO-DFW-MIA is $917 in F ($579 more than MC) (Y fare cheapest) ; DFW-MIA is $839 ($425 more than MC)
SWO-DFW-LGA is $933 ($441 more than MC), DFW-LGA is $523 ($404 more than MC) (Y fare also cheapest)
SWO-DFW-LAX is $1139 ($691 more than MC); DFW-LAX is $684-784 ($398 more than MC) (Y fare also cheapest)

On my last flight, DFW-SEA was only $200 more for F roundtrip (less than the cost of 500 mile stickers), but my SWO-DFW-SEA was $650 more to upgrade to F.
