AC Jetz all-business class aircraft appearing on popular Sunspot routes
https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/air-canad...anes-1.5154601
TORONTO -- Air Canada is offering a rare opportunity for people to fly on their fleet of all-business class planes.
The airline said it will use their four Airbus 319 Jetz aircrafts, which are configured with only 58 business class seats and no economy, on popular routes this winter.
Air Canada normally uses these planes for professional sports teams, popular musical groups on tour and corporate clients on a charter basis.

Had these back in summer too between Toronto - Montreal & Ottawa.
Row 6 is emergency exit with extra legroom. Row 11 has backward facing seats. Table separates 11 & 12.
Flights loaded and available for revenue and redemption.

This does not sound good for a quick return of Rouge. If traditional low margin holiday destinations require and can support all business class aircraft it is unclear how a Rouge configuration would do.

They seem to be replacing some mainline aircraft on the sun routes. I wonder if you are booked in Y on a mainline 320 if they will put you on the Jetz 319 replacement flight?
At least one of the older flights was still bookable as of this evening out of YVR.

Looks like all routes are 1X/week.

Inside Air Canada’s All Business Class A319 Jets: A Tour
It’s a part of Air Canada’s fleet not normally accessible to the average traveler: The all-business-class Airbus A319. A fleet made up of three aircraft, this division is known as ‘Air Canada Jetz’ and is a special charter branch often used to fly sports teams, touring musicians, and corporate groups across Canada. With these special ‘Jetz’ jets now in scheduled commercial passenger service, let’s take a look at what they have to offer.

I am looking to go to PVR on Dec 28 and noticed that two flights were loaded on the AC website - one of them being the JETZ flight. Called AC and they confirmed that both flights are scheduled. Maybe the demand is there - but seems odd to me to be flying a 319 and a 320 at the same time to PVR.
I'm assuming the Jetz flight will catered as per business class seeing that's the only fare available?

Interesting that YLW-YYZ is one of the routes. Maybe I'll have to make a little circuitous trip.

Makes it easy to consolidate flights if demand isn't there.
The question is.
Do you buy Y and hope that's the flight that get's cancelled?
Or pay for J on Jetz and become dissapointed when that flight gets cancelled?

I'd pay for a Intl Jetz J flight if it was to/from YYC. Until quarantine is relaxed at other airports Jetz J isn't going to sway my decision making. I'm also going to assume that it's Paid J (or P,Z,D,C) only for these flights and no eups.
