Had this on every flight in the last couple of months.
Basically, almost every flight ex-LON is full, mainly because there are so few flights compared to normal. Some returns at the start of the holidays less so.
The good thing is due to it being mostly leisure pax, overhead space is plentiful right now.

Was talking to Cabin Crew on my very empty flight back from Ibiza on Monday evening.
They were telling me that Turkey and Greece flights are packed. Think he said he'd done a Bodrum run on the Friday or Saturday and CE was back to the Emergency Exits.

They've sent these emails out on many occasions over the past few years ... In my experience there's limited or no correlation between the email and the flight being full .. and recent experience suggests this has not changed.

Packed because they keep cancelling flights with light loads T-72! Was expecting a pretty empty BA640 LHR to ATH on Tuesday, however they cancelled the earlier departure (which was a A321) and merged both flights onto a A320 Neo! CE was 100% full back to row 12 which meant all ET seats were the far less comfortable ones.
