So in BA’s quietest period ever with barely any flights we have had:
1) A350 collide with 777 at Dubai on pushback
2) A380 damage taxiway at Chateauroux
3) 777 get covered in foam
4) 787 get pushed off taxiway onto grass

these planes aren’t used to being parked up and feeling abandoned and unused. I know how they feel!

Arguably a period of abnormal operations (reduced staffing, new protocols, unfamiliar destinations) is exactly when you would expect more, rather than less incidents.

There's been a BA 787 flying YEG and back since at least early May (when I started driving by YEG and paying attention). Funnily enough when we were re-opening Phase I, I'd hop around daily barbecues with neighbours. Since we live along the flight path, it's nice to have had some quiet lately. But recently around 5 PM, we can't help but notice the massive BA tail grace the skies above us, massive because we rarely get a widebody 'round these parts.
