No DeltaOne Availability June Onward
We were booked in Delta One, using Virgin Atlantic miles for a trip to Asia in April. Now that we have to cancel due to COVID-19, we were looking to rebook after June. I can't seem to find ANY DeltaOne availability at all from DTW, ATL, or MSP to Asia - but the flights look available on Delta (at saver rates). With the ongoing crisis, is Delta not releasing partner availability?

Same here but for different routes for a Delta redemption using VS miles.
I’ve also found with the Alaska program that there doesn’t seem to be any JAL J-Class awards available (but there is sporadic Y availability), at least for the routes I’m looking for. That’s into 2021.
I wonder if it’s either down to airlines freezing their availability in the hopes of picking up revenue tickets, or so many thousands of other people are rebooking their travel for the furthest dates ahead as possible (granted, unlikely to be the second, given some of the random routings i’m looking at).

This.
With vastly reduced capacity, carriers are holding their premium cabins for cash tickets. Cash is now king and while getting miles off the books is a good thing overall, miles still aren't cash. Redemption space will likely open if the flight continues to operate and D1 doesn't sell.
Even post-Covid, carriers will need to bring back service where they can sell it.

There's little point in even thinking about rebooking until you're sure this lockdown is over. Schedules will be practically meaningless from one week to the next. If your schedule is super flexible, I'd be checking every evening to see if you could snag the seats you want on a flight that departs in a day or two. But, I wouldn't want to be travelling until things have calmed way down.

ANA F, SFO-HND with VS miles, Nov
ANA F, NRT-SFO with VS miles, Nov
JAL F, SFO-HND with AS miles, Nov
JAL J, SFO-HND + NRT-YVR with CX miles, Mar
JAL F, SFO-HND with Avios, Mar
And this is SFO. LAX routes are full of J and F award space as usual from what I can see. IDK if DL is adjusting inventory or not but I see nothing of that sort with the JP carriers.

Hmm, I'm not seeing any roadblocks to using VS miles on international Delta One routes.
Domestic D1 is another story, but that's not COVID-19 related. Domestic D1 availability appears to have been killed off entirely a month or two after TPG ran a post drawing attention to the great value ~2-3 years ago. The only way to book that now, with a VS (or SkyTeam) award, is to get lucky with married segments and wonky routing...

DL even suspended all advance complimentary upgrades due to "needing to balance the cabin for social distancing" so I expect they've pretty much locked down all non-cash fare classes for premium cabins.
