Singapore Contact Center No Wait
DELETED!
Tried to be helpful, as this is the purpose of this board. But of course, idiots have to ridicule and make fun of the information. So I have added them to the ignore list.

Flyer Talk is no longer a friendly place to post helpful information! Never again!

Today, I attempted to call Singapore Airways Contact Center to get a refund for my cancelled flights. My call connected right away with no wait time. There was a problem that I could hear background noises but could not talk with the agent. I hung up to recall and while I was doing this, Singapore Contact Center called me back. I had no problems with getting a refund for my (non refundable fare) business class ticket. I did not complain that it may take up to 46 weeks to receive the refund to may credit. Better to wait than to get no refund. If you are interested, I called today @12:30 pm Bangkok time. I called The Singapore Contact Center at +65-6223-8888.

I applied for 1 revenue and 1 award booking to be refunded as they contained cancelled flights. Was told to expect upwards of 16 weeks as well. Thinking back it makes sense because they have a bond issue to pay back in Jul so they're prob pooling cash from every possible source to restrict it for that as the no.1 priority. Also probably to try and breach fewer covenants, or if they have been breached to not sink too deeply in the red.
