Polaris LifeMiles Award Says Upgrade Cleared?

Polaris LifeMiles Award Says Upgrade Cleared?
I booked an award on UA Polaris with LifeMiles and when I pull the reservation up on united.com, it shows as "Upgrade Confirmed", but I purchased business class with miles so why is it showing as upgraded?

I have exactly the same indication on two award flights - United Polaris business, booked in "I" and the message on both says:

Confirmed

Your Upgrade to United Polaris business has been confirmed.

Either a unannounced future devaluation where upgrades clear in to award inventory... or an IT glitch. Really hard to tell which one it is.
