What's your best upgrade streak?
I'm currently in the midst of a pretty good 1st class upgrade streak. By my count, I have been in first for 16 consecutive segments, which seems like the best personal streak I can remember. Mostly west coast flights, but do have two cross country trips in there as well.

I've cleared 14 in a row from March, 2019, until January 10th of this year. Have cleared 11 of 12 just this month. My 2019 miss was OAK-LIH and my only miss this month was EWR-SFO.

9 straight as an MVPG.

I'm 148/267 overall in all AS flying (55.4%), though I never count when I do a late change to a flight (e.g. same day)

When I was an MVPG from 2014-2017, I don't think I saw the Y cabin more than about 5 times between judicious use of GGUs, paid/award fares, and knowing when to roll the dice on the complimentary upgrade. I recall missing occasionally on SMF-OGG and of course the tough ones like SEA-FLL and SEA-NYC, but only because U never opened up for a GGU.

Currently riding a 6 flight streak since getting to 75K in November. Looking back at my flights, looks like 5 was my longest prior streak as MVPG. SAN had been getting tougher for upgrades as MVPG, so I’m glad I made it to 75K.

As an SFO based flyer, I agree with these observations...SAN is tougher than SFO, in my experience, but LAX is the easiest, by far.

FWIW, OAK-OGG has to be the easiest upgrade in the world, on a decently long flight. Good time too (~7am; arrives in Maui with plenty of time to enjoy the day). Lots of families; I suspect that most don't have status, and the ones that do don't split their PNRs so they don't get upgraded.
