Hi,
Is there any way for a 90-year-old speaking only German to get a German-speaking Lufthansa person on the phone?
Lufthansa removed the option to select German and only offers English or Spanish.
Selecting English, you end up in the Philippines. They hardly speak any English and are quite rude. No supervisors are available.

Unfortunately, this 90-year-old does not even know what Skype is. Never had a mobile phone. I am 4000 miles away.

Where is s/he calling from? The German hotline is always in German first. You could do a three way, by calling him/her in the hotel room and then conferencing in Lufthansa?

I called the Germans, the gave me the regular US number. They did not know that the German option was removed.
He is in LA, I am in Tampa.

Thanks for all your ideas.
I was just puzzled that Lufthansa cut the German-speaking option. It was so easy, instead of routing to the Philipines they used to route to Germany.
