Question about 5th night free + weekend night

All I can find is questions about using the weekend night cert as one of the 5 nights.
What I want to know is, can I use points for 4 nights, get the 5th night free, and use a weekend night cert to get a 6th night free?

Thank you.

Yes. You just need to make two separate reservations: one for the 5 nights using points and one using the Free Night Certificate.

Okay, thank you. But I assume we can keep the same room? I think we combined my free nights with my wife's free nights once before, and not only got to stay in same room, but got free upgrade.

Yes, you will keep the same room. You can email the hotel in advance or just tell the at check-in.
