EK017 now 2 class?
Had my 14J/K booked on EK017 for a while now.
Went to check tonight and we have been moved to 15J/K as its now a 2 class rather than the usual 3 class.
Think there are bassinet seats in row 16 which is why I have always avoided booking 15 or in a 3 class I avoid row 20.
Oh well!
I feel sorry for those who were booked into First.

And also which date ‘now’ refers to.
Having a quick look on EF (just out of interest as I don’t fly into MAN), it would appear that in the next month or so, EK17 is only served by a 2 class frame on 17/09. So the answer to the question in the title of your post is ‘no’.
(EK19 and EK21 appear to be consistently 2 class)

EK017 DXB to MAN Sunday 15 Sept Change of aircraft
Normally this flight is three class. I'm booked on 15 September and the plane is now two class which is disappointing, for me at least!
The other two daily flights to Manchester are two class.
It looks to be a one off occurrence. Let's hope so.

I got a notification today that my DXB-CMB on the 16th Sept has been switched to a 2-Class - annoying as I'd been booked in F.

There's already a thread about this particular flight!
EK017 now 2 class?
Sounds like it's a one-off for that day.

Not surprised.
Flew back into MAN on EK19 yesterday.
Completely full and overbooked in Y. No chance of upgrading. Same story outbound the previous week.
They really could do with introducing a 23.59 departure ex MAN to spread the days load out better and so allow F to remain a fixture on 1 or hopefully 2 of the flights.
Whilst connectivity would be weak, it would be ideal for leisure travellers. Land in DXB at 10.15 ish, be at a hotel for midday to check in. Leave a hotel at 2pm for a 5pm ish flight back to MAN. Would surely do well enough on a 777 3/4 times a week??
