No booking emails from AA?

No booking emails from AA?
When I book tickets on virtually any other airline, I receive am email confirming the booking within about a minute. Except AA. Sometimes its several minutes, sometimes hours, which has always been annoying, In the past two days, I've booked one ticket 36 hours ago and 12 hours ago, and no emails at all. (Yes, I checked spam folder etc.)
Is this common or am I special? Anything I could be doing wrong?

Never had an issue receiving the booking email. Make sure you haven’t transposed a letter/number.
You get the booking email almost instantly and then anywhere between 20 min - 6 hours I receive the eticket email.

I had a ticket that needed to be constructed using Phase IV and never received the receipt via email though I can see that it was ticketed online.

AA batch processes their tickets, so it can take several hours to get the confirmation. In the last 6 months, it has improved significantly to where it shows up within 30 mins (as opposed to hours before)
