BA 134/135: New BOM service

Looks like BA is adding a new service to BOM leaving at 5.50 pm ex LHR on a 789 . There was a big void with 9W operations being shut with a weekly loss of 10k seats. Good to have more options for summer and world cup travel

Doesn't look like its a daily service yet.

Not really a new service, just going back up to double daily and not great timing either.

Would’ve been better if they hadn’t trashed the 139 service and return the super hi-J 744 to it rather than a 3 class 777.

This will be the third flight in addition to BA 139 and 199. Not daily though. Looks like it's starting in first week of June. Its been a while since I saw 747's on this route

BA are currently using a Air Belgium A343 to cover 787 flights and they have also been cancelling flights lately due to a shortage of 787’s. Will be interested to know what route will be loosing its 787 ops to free up aircraft for this new service.

Perhaps the next 747 that was scheduled to leave the fleet will be kept on?
