Lounge in MIA + connection T3 - T5 LHR
Hello all,
I am flying the below all ticketed with BA

MIA - LHR T3 BA208 4th May 20:40-10:25 First
T5 LHR - DXB BA107 5th May 12:50-23:05 First

So 2 questions will i be able to use the AA flagship lounge at Mia and can I get first dining?
T3-T5 in First I really hope to get to the CCR and have time for a shower presuming no delays how much time do you think i might actually have?
Thanks

Hi,
It could take upto an hour from leaving the plane at T3 getting the flight connections bus and clearing security at T5 ( and had this time once) but probably 45mins.
There may be a queue for showers at the T5 spa though ( you get a buzzer)
Regards

I think you should have access to flagship first dining at the D30 Flagship lounge in Miami (I had it on a recent BA flight number which was operated by AA) but you can ask when you get there if they don't offer you a voucher/ticket/pass when you check in with the lounge agent. Anyway, even if you don't the lounge is still good and there should be a small Cuban/Mexican station in the back right corner serving something interesting besides the buffet.

Yes you can use the Flagship Lounge in MIA (and I'd recommend that over the old BA lounge). I'm not sure whether you get First Dining if you're on a BA plane - you certainly don't get First Dining by reason of status (Gold/Emerald/CCR) but I don't know if American extend the First privileges to BA passengers...if not, then the First Dining is catering just one (?) AA flight a day?

This is the official position:
Departing flight must be marketed and operated by American on the same day (or before 6 a.m. the following day)
I guess if you have a BP with an AA flight number showing first class, it might be worth asking? Would be interesting to know.
