How long for Choice benefit to become active?

Stupid question. When you choose a Delta Voucher as your choice benefit how long does it take to show up in your e-credit wallet? Hours, day?

Thanks

It's generally within 48 hours, IIRC.

I chose the voucher a week ago and it was in my account in a couple of hours. (Sorry, I don't remember the exact number of hours, but it was more like 6 than 60.)

The T&Cs say 48 hours IIRC for redeemable miles, GUCs/RUCs, and vouchers, but IME it's never been more than a couple hours and phone agents might be able to see this stuff and apply it even faster.

RUC and $ credit both showed up within 4 hours in my last selection, late Dec.

The only thing I recall taking more than 24 hours is the gifted status choice.

Agents won't see them till a day after they posted . I've never had RUC/GUC take more than a few minutes to post. Then I simply give the number to the agent to use.

I've done the same, even before receiving the email.

More you are "near" the 31 January, more time it take.
I think they do some "manual" check, and they become very busy near the 31 January.
