Welcome to FlyerTalk.
You may not be entitled to any additional compensation, but you will be rerouted or you can take a full refund.
When were you travelling (the exact day and time matter, because they will determine the best route and whether you are entitled to any additional compensation).

The fare rules will determine everything. Most fares are non-refundable but changeable for a fee plus a fare difference. If your ticket is non-refundable then there is nothing you can unfortunately. You need to call BA and aks what the fare rules for your ticket are.

The fare rules are the rules that BA apply to the ticket that say when you can fly for a particular change, whether you can change or cancel (and how much it costs), and how fares are calculated (e.g., can you fly into one airport and out of another).

The fare rules determine what you can or cannot change with regard to your flights and the costs that will be incurred should you change/cancel. It can vary, hence the need to look at the specific rules for your tickets which should be in the confirmation emails or MMB I think.

The fare rules govern everything. But they tend to be grouped into categories depending on route. So if you tell us your itinerary, we can hazard a guess.
