Buy On Board BRU-LHR No hot food served
Flew this route today, sat in the first row behind CE, when the service started I requested a bacon roll and was told by the cabin crew that hot food is not available on this route.
There is no mention of this in the BOB menu, is this true as I have always had my beloved bacon butty from DUS,CDG, FRA and LUX...

Have a look at the current menu here https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/29704305-post115.html
The bacon roll is marked with the blue circle/globe and in the key that says "Not available on shorter flights".

Sales had previously been suspended, don't know if they restarted at any point. See:

Agreed, my comment is clearly not the explanation, seems KARFA has provided the answer - don't know if there is a list of what counts as shorter flights. I've done LUX a few times and it's hardly long!

There has been the removal of bacon rolls on select routes as posted below. This is due to feedback, however, as a result, there will be an increase in Cheese Ploughman’s and Mushroom and Emmental Toasties.
As for BRU I think there is no hot items (correction)
BA2546 - LGW-ALG
BA2562- LGW - DLM
BA2648- LGW - TIA
