What qualifies as "travel" is on US Bank's website and in the wikipost here. Parking is not a qualifying travel charge on this card.

thanks- I just booked a rental via autoclash- but I did NOT get a real time rewards text - I checked my settings and rental cars should send a text - and I set minimum to $10 - the autoslash bill was $325. This is the first thing I have made a purchase for that should have triggered RTR - just wondering if anyone has thoughts?

I did get the text that a charge was posted (I have the settings set up to do that) but nothing about using my RTR

Do you mean Autoslash? The RTR really only works when you book direct from my experience. So if you had booked through Hertz instead of Priceline, etc, etc.

it just worked at Panera when I reset the options. So it is simply that autoslash doesn’t code for the rental car redemption rate

You will earn 2 Points (3 Points total) for every $1 in eligible Net Purchases during each billing cycle for transactions made directly with merchants who classify their business as a travel category transaction (such as purchases made directly with airlines, hotels, car rentals, taxicabs, limousines, passenger trains and cruise line companies), and for transactions using a mobile wallet.
Bolded the important part for emphasis. Booking with a travel agency or other intermediary won't trigger RTR and won't earn 3x points.

Some foreign airlines like Ryan air will not also not trigger real time rewards alerts too even if booked directly
