Actually, there is a welcome home for current discussions on Virgin America and it's located in our Other North and South America Frequent Flyer Programs forum.

If you look through that forum, there are currently a number of active threads on Virgin America and they are quite easy to spot, read and contribute to IMO.

It is TalkBoard's responsibility to make FlyerTalk a user-friendly, organized and effective source for hotel, airline and other frequent flyer travel information.

This isn't always accomplished by creating a stand-alone forum for each and every airline, hotel and travel idea submitted by our members. If every airline worldwide had it's own forum here, you'd have a lot of forums with virtually no traffic and that's a frustrating experience when one is seeking an answer to a question or looking for information.

Experience shows that it is often best if we wait to create a seperate forum when an airline, for example, has been around for a while, develops a loyal following of frequent flyers and we have ample evidence that this new forum will be vigorous and successful.

What are these metrics and how are they measured? There's nothing hard or fast and every TB member may have a different way of measuring these areas.

But many of the TB members, having been around FT for a while and seen both forum successes and failures, has a feeling for what will work and when the timing is right for a new forum.

But we're nine individual members and so none of us think exactly alike.

So my suggestion is to continue to contribute to the current Virgin America threads, check into this TB Topics thread occasionally with your current thoughts and ideas and, one day, I'm sure the time will be right to bring this to a vote.
