I only do 3-4K a month at USAA because I've got so much going on with them, and that is the one bank I wouldn't want to lose. I definitely don't want to lose my ability to get insurance through USAA, although I'm not sure if that would be affected. I've had accounts for 10+ years, not sure if that means anything to them. I'd rather burn through local banks, since they're virtually endless.
