SAS mailed this morning to say *A awards can be booked on the web. Will report back after trying it out.

SAS amex vouchers are SAS + *A, so it's somewhat plausible it would extend to other partners, will have to double check the conditions (I was not actually aware before this thread of spending on EY)

You are correct; I did my calculation on extra points it seems. If you need the 12k points to qualify you will find value for sure, I am still undecided if it is worth it.

For 2300 SEK you can buy 12000 base points yourself and actually get to use them. The 12K included with the card could not be used for bonus flights.

Seems to be a devaluation of the existing card; non-free for gold/silver (395 SEK/y), max earnings of 200K points per year.

1495/y for premium. Some value if you book SAS awards, otherwise not...

Correct, 3 RT in plus-saver (or Go Flex) to HKG,MIA,LAX,SFO,PVG or NRT would do it.

And yes, I picked up Gold on QR a few years back: Some decent connections to asia and good discount C prices.

If you reach 45k during your qualification period, that will give you gold for the remainder of your current period and the whole of the next period. With gold comes an extra 25% points when flying...

Just booked ARN(25th)-HKG(27th)-ARN in Plus for ~9.5k SEK giving 15K points.

Will give me gold again and make it 10 years, which hopefully pays...
