I buy it. It's still a great deal compared to domestic gogo given how many hours of use you can get out of it. And frankly I found the speed better than domestic gogo for most of the flight.

I did NRT-DFW recently in F on AA's 772 and the seat was excellent, if a bit old looking. But it was plenty comfy for a very long ride and I was able to relax and get some sleep.
