Of course BA said no one would be out of pocket because of the breach so maybe he should ask BA if they will pay it directly for him to save him reclaiming it. Same for the almost guaranteed...

I always find it odd that with BA Bronze you can get a free hold bag in economy on AA domestic flights due to being OW Ruby but not BA. A case of a better benefit than the home FFP.

Could of also gone cheaper on VIrgin flights but I like BA.
