As others have said it is a courtesy that he recline slowly. What you need to 'mange' is yourself and your valuables - assume the seat will be 'headed [your] way' as soon as the seatbelt sign goes...

Care to explain? According to the Wikipedia entry on LY1862 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Al_Flight_1862), it was a problem with the aircraft design, not poor maintenance.

Not so difficult - I could borrow your charger and return one that looks identical but contains malicious hardware/software. Assuming yours is a stock charger, I only need to have 3-4 'fake' chargers...

I was there about a year ago. Not incredibly interesting or well kept, but not the worst museum in Jerusalem either. Worth an hour or so of your time IMO, especially if you're staying nearby.
