UA and DL see no issue flying to TLV (up to 4x a day for the former, 2x a day for the latter). TLV isn't exactly a bleeding edge destination that needs trepidation.

CX doesn't use single or double digit flight numbers afaik, their "flight 1" equivalent would be CX100, SYD-HKG.
WY is basically the same, WY101 is the better timed of the two MCT-LHR flights.

I've been let in several times on a LAX-BOS in J. I think the issue is you were an arriving passenger connecting on a non oneworld airline. I don't believe you have access in that scenario.
