Lounge access - need a card now.

Had some fun getting into lounges ten days ago, needed to show my card and the kerbside door to the BNE domestic lounge couldn't let me in even with it and I had to shlep round to the inside door....

Lounge access on QF/NZ codeshare.

Friend recently flew business from Cairns to Los Angeles. NZ ticketed. QF metal from Cairns to Brisbane on codeshare flight. Denied access to Cairns (Qantas) lounge. No problems in Brisbane though....

No want bag all the way from AKL-ADL. I omitted to say upgrade to seat+bag was unavailable on website which sent me down the 'add a bag' rabbit hole.

Problem now solved after second phone call....
