Generally agree, except the Weds before Thanksgiving might top any of the days of Christmas week. Kids are off so more flexibility with dates that week.

Plate and silverware are not a concern assuming they are washed between uses - or use disposable. Bathrooms and HVAC are a concern but, again, if the house is large enough it can be worked around.....

This is the answer. Fly to SFO with normal precautions, face mask + face shield for planes along with plenty of hand sanitizer. See wife. Fly back the same way, and isolate in the house if it's big...

I assume you arrive after Nov 1st? The Airtrain fare is currently $5, but will rise to $7.75 on Nov 1st.

You can actually load up the $18.25 (+$1 for the metrocard = $19.25) on the day you arrive....

General consensus is that if you do not make a habit of doing this you should be ok. Just also be aware that in case of IRROPS the airline could re-route you to C and that may not be via A.

We had a trip that straddled the 2nd birthday too.. however we started buying seats for our son at around 20 months. Was way more comfortable for all of us.
