LH1348 arriving pax were sent directly to the arrivals, couldn't see any Straż Graniczna officers though and gate agent said he wasn't aware of any SG checks for pax arriving from Germany.

The letter says it's not a proof of status, checking the status on-line can be done, but it's not instant - they send you a text message which takes a 2-3 minutes to come through.

I don't have evidence against AM, but I do against Lastminute and Opodo. In both cases Amex has refunded money straightaway. LM claims they'll refund me "soon" despite AA refunding them back in April...

Just to clarify, EC261/2004 works for all flights (trips) starting in the EU, so same law applies to AM, IB and LA regarding refund or cancellation compensation, regardless of passenger's nationality.
