I use AY regularly for east-bound long haul ex MAN. The only downer is the MAN-HEL connecting flight but it's worth it to avoid the hell that is LHR

Good report. I've used EY from MAN to BKK in J and was equally impressed. I also use AY who are also good. Both of course have the advantage of flying to/from MAN thus avoiding the truly dreadful LHR...
