Terminology is important: the US PP don’t ban Europeans as such. You are free to travel via a 3rd country such as Mexico. In comparison, the EU ban doesn’t allow for such workarounds.

And so it's way too early to talk about easing any restrictions on the ground of vaccinated UK...
