Just noticed our non stop SFO-FLL tickets have been rerouted to indirect fights.

(As usual, UA didn't bother to notify us).

I can't find any SFO-FLL or SFO-MIA in Dec/Jan.

That's OK for a shorter flight e.g HKG - SIN for an extra 30K miles. But what if you gave up ~ 100K miles for SIN-LHR and they did an AC swap on the day? That would be a little upsetting.
