It seems now you can only transfer the miles to yourself, as they have automatically filled in the name for your Asia Miles info section during the transfer. I guess both names has to be 100% match...

Hope CX will release more partner award availability in the future, as it is almost impossible to book through BA as of now... even booking one full year ahead.

And make sure you buy the upgradable Premium Economy seats, not the discounted one. And from what I heard, all award seats from YYZ-HKG in Nov are waitlist, so you might not get an upgrade even you...
