It certainly can happen. A few years ago I had let my MVP lapse and had zero status at all. I was flying on DL LAS-SEA with my AS MP number in (but again, no status at the time of booking or of...

You just buy one on arrival, no advance work necessary. IIRC it's about $20.

Now that's strange. I had lounge access in both SFO and DXB when flying in F 3 weeks ago, but that was pre-devaluation.

I'm batting 4 for 4 on SEA-PDX. Regularly see empty seats go out in F on the CRJ they run there.

SEA-LAS is also a fairly easy upgrade on DL for an AS Elite.

It's really not. You can't tell me with a straight face that a 2x3x2 configuration in J is not seriously inferior to the many 1x2x1 products now out there.

EK J on the A380 is clearly one of the...

OneWorld status. Since both programs have equally devalued miles, I have no incentive now to stick with AS given that when travelling internationally as an AS elite, you're an absolute nobody....

I snagged a $40 o/w SEA-LAX a couple years ago. I had never seen it below $69 before then, and within an hour after booking the whole schedule had reverted back to $99, so I suspect it was a mistake.

Just to clarify, Boeing has nothing to do with the A388 staying out of SEA. Unfortunately there is not enough spacing between taxiways for the A388 to operate regular service out of SEA. Max wingspan...

This is probably a better reason why NRT would never work for AS. No way an airport with those landing fees would ever be economical for a 738. But I can't help but wonder about some secondary...
