I agree, it doesn't mean it's the best everyday choice for everyone with the fee. I'm just saying it is clear who the market for the card is, IMO - not a travel card audience, more of the everyday...

I'm almost positive the terms would exclude that type of thing. No way Amex would let that slip by.

Even for organic use this is incredibly easy to use as the majority of websites take Paypal.

Sorry but there is almost no chance they would add 10x to the card full time. That would lose them way too much money. It's fine to do on a temporary basis as a SUB but I cannot see them doing it...

I did the Citi Miles Ahead savings promotion back in April. Well, I opened the account in April, and did get the bonus miles until ~October. The 90 day terms seem to be more like 180 days.
