AA Cancellation on BA booking - what are my routing rights?

Just got notified that the SEA-JFK leg operated by AA on a BA booking has been cancelled.

I had found via ITA Matrix an alternative routing via LAX that got me from SEA to JFK to make my JFK-LHR...

We were impacting on SJC route but BA did not...

If you made the change in the last 24 hours then I have found they can be flexible when I was in a similar situation. But you would need to be quick and call them up.
