Final Eagle Air/Beech 1900D service

Seems the final Eagle Air/Beech 1900 flight will be Friday 26th August PMR/HLZ. End of an era for Eagle and for Air NZ and for the country really.

Actually *if* I had known I was going to be re-routed I would have booked J quite frankly or PE for the AKL-SYD-LAX portion. Mind you as PE wasn't available on AKL-LAX (A332) there wasn't much chance...

So was meant to be AKL-LAX-DFW-DSM on QF-AA May 24th/May 31st and now am being re-routed (after receiving my flight change notification email) AKL-SYD-LAX-DFW-DSM and on the way back...

I phoned QF to book it and they did all the work for me in building the connections so to speak.

Connecting at LAX should be "interesting" to say the least.
